Before you came, the world was big and wide, now everything I love is by my side.
I count your tiny fingers and your toes, and softly kiss your cheek before you doze.
No matter where you go or what you do, my heart will always watch and care for you.
Rest your weary eyes, sweet [Baby's Name], as twilight turns the sky to velvet blue.
Within these arms there is no fear or cold, just endless, tender love for you to hold.
-
I love your eyes, I love your smile,
I love your tiny hands and feet.
I love the way you look at me,
And make my whole life feel complete.
Go off to sleep, my [Baby's Name],
And dream of happy, sunny skies.
I'll keep you warm inside my arms,
And sing you quiet lullabies.
Sleep safe and sound the whole night through,
And know how much I care for you.
